Quick! Get off your computer! Tune in to TVLand!
There are four back-to-back episodes of The Brady Bunch on tonight, starting at 8:00 (EST). They're all episodes in which the Bradys sing!
Don't miss Greg as Johnny Bravo, starting at 9:30!
Go! Get out of here! What you waiting for?
fresh-baked at 08:13 PMTVLand is a gift, ambrosia of the gods. When nothing else is on, you can always count on TVLand for a laugh, whether from I Love Lucy (which I adore) or Leave it to Beaver. The Brady Bunch, I can take or leave, but I would be the last person to mock. I am, after all, a fan of the Beverly Hillbillies.
Offered by: Kim on July 1, 2002 4:03 PMI love you for this! (Among many other reasons!) Thank you!
Offered by: Joan on July 1, 2002 2:35 AMTranscendental Ironization? Now that would sound impresssive to some folk, wouldn't it?
Offered by: Don on July 1, 2002 12:54 AMoh, i love the bradys -- but i love TVLand for bringing back batman, even more. god, those old batmans are just awesome - the colors, the innocent double entendres, the *colors* man.
TVLand rocks.
Offered by: kd on July 1, 2002 12:52 AMIt doesn't merely approach, Don. It transcends.
Offered by: Jodi on July 1, 2002 12:29 AMJodi, Jodi, Jodi...that's all I hear. I hate being a middle blogger! :(
Offered by: Rick on June 30, 2002 11:53 PMUsing the concept of being in a coma combined with a reference to predictability in a comment about the Brady Bunch must approach some form of high irony!
Congratulations for whatever it was that just happened.
You know that I mean that in only the kindest, most loving way.
Offered by: Don on June 30, 2002 11:48 PMMiss Lawrence was borne of my pre-adolescent vision of what Marcia Brady would look like when she grew up (although with auburn hair).
The little contradictions and inconsistencies are what make a personality dynamic. Predictability is about as much fun as lapsing into a coma, which, my sources tell me, isn't all it's cracked up to be.
People who say they don't watch really bad TV, at least on occasion, are liars. And those who claim, "I only watch PBS and the Discovery channel" can go hang themselves by their ascots.
Offered by: Jodi on June 30, 2002 10:57 PMJodi, dear, I worry about you some times.
Really, now I can't get that insipid, "I think I'll go for a walk outside now . . . " out of my head.
Heads will roll for this one!
Offered by: Scott on June 30, 2002 10:26 PMBrady Bunch?
How can Miss Lawrence even coexist with this?
What's next? Gilligan's Island?
I'll try to not let this get in the way of our obviously otherwise budding relationship, Jodi.
