Reminder

Don't forget to remember!
  Today is Friday, not Monday.

(Oh, and your wife called. She said to remember to bring home milk and a roll of paper towel. And also to remember that you're having dinner with her parents and not to be late like last time. It wasn't cute when you tripped through the door at 8:00, reeking of cigaratte smoke and cheap perfume.)

When you're a lady of leisure like I am, the days are a big blur too, Dan. But my blur doesn't end in a week. It just extends on and on into oblivion. Nifty!

The great thing about being a college student on summer break is that giving names to the days in order to differentiate between them loses all meaning after about a week. It's awesome - I have about a month left without any Mondays. Or Tuesdays. Etc.

You didn't think I would stoop so low as to steele it, did you?

Offered by: The Real Don on July 5, 2002 3:37 PM

Don (The Real), you actually just made me chortle with this new-fangled spin on your old name.

Offered by: Jodi on July 5, 2002 3:12 PM

The next time my wife calls to have me bring something home, please remind her that our divorce was final almost a year ago and she should get her own paper towel or whatever.

Hmph! The things I do for love.

Like walkin' in the rain and the snow . . .

Yes, yes that would be nice. The cat juggling was good at the time, but it lost its charm when the cats stopped fighting it.

Offered by: Kim on July 5, 2002 12:38 PM

Well, apparently that's just not enough anymore, Scott. From now on, you may want to start bringing home milk and paper towel without Kim even having to ask!

Offered by: Jodi on July 5, 2002 12:14 PM

She had me hanging around; I'm good at all sorts of things, like cat juggling and programming my computer to sound like Homer Simpson!

Offered by: Scott on July 5, 2002 12:07 PM

How did you ever survive without me? That's what I want to know, Kim.

Offered by: Jodi on July 5, 2002 9:41 AM

Egads, it's Friday?! And here I thought it was Tuesday. I don't know what I would do without you, Jodi.
