ok, take into consideration that I'm a little punchy due to insomnia but for some bizarre reason when I saw this headline on the Recent Entry list, I heard in my head:

Tim: I banned this person for a specific comment. I also banned him because I have no place in my life for cowards who hide behind fake names or phone email addresses.

I really don't care if people "surf" anonymously. That's fine. But if someone has something to say to me, then it's time to remove the mask and face any "consequences" like an adult, not a cowering little pussy.

I *don't* care, at least not in the sense that my asking these questions goes anywhere beyond idle curiosity. I recognize that this is Jodi's site, and that she can do whatever she wants with it, so my purpose in commenting was to ask why rather than simply criticize. Trying to be a sneaky little anonymous 'tard is obviously a good way to make people annoyed with you, but I was just wondering (and still do) what else this guy did in order to deserve a post all his own. Banning him for a specific comment more sense than a ban due to the way he chooses to surf, because the IP masking services he uses will continue to allow him to access jodieverse anonymously.

I don't get it. Tim, why do you care?? some trouser stain comes floating through and doesn't have the basic curtousy of announcing him/her self... the ballless thing leaves gender up in the air still.
Given a chance Tim you'd probably hate the anal tounge teaser also. This is the guy who calls you up, blocks his number on caller ID, and then gets mad at you for not answering when we calls be cause it just looks like another asshole that doesn't have the basic manners to announce himself when calling upon you.

Ummmm...I believe that Jodi said that the *ball-less stain* did indeed leave a comment. Which I'm sure she deleted as soon as she saw it. I didn't see it, but since this is Jodi's blog, she can delete and/or ban whoever the fuck she feels like deleting or banning.

Whenever one leaves a comment in a Movable Type powered blog, the IP addy is logged...so that is how she found it, and was able to ban it. I've banned many a *ball-less stain* myself!

If someone does not like a particular blog, they should just leave, and not return. How hard is that for these pea brains to absorb?

Why all the anger towards this nameless fellow? As far as I know, he didn't commit the cardinal sins of trolling, flooding, or being an immature prick. He might just be some random privacy nut who always hides his browsing, for whatever reason. For this, people want to drop him into the Rancor pit with Anna Nicole Smith -- a fate worse than death! If his visible behavior didn't do anything to tick you off, coming after him for anonymous browsing would only make him more determined to hide his identity, as well as suggest that you might be paying a little too much attention to the IP addresses of everyone who logs on to your site.

I'm a little confused. I glanced through the comments and didn't see anything too awful (unless it was deleted), so I was wondering if it was just the fact of someone accessing your site anonymously that got you so upset. Btw, how did you connect the post to the anonymous browser?
