So much to say ...

... but so little desire to say it.

Rev wrote the other day that she was "bored with the whole eating process". She wished there were a tablet she could take to just get it out of the way.

Well, that's the way I feel about talking right about now. I just don't want to do it. I just want to communicate via telepathy or body language. (And no, I don't just mean via my middle finger.) I've got a lot to say, but no desire to actually say it.

Or write it.

This would be a perfect opportunity to subject you to Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind," but I'm not going to do it.

feeling a bit the same...too lazy to write

Mabeljeanne: I know what you mean, but it had nothing to do, really, with deep thoughts. Just a lack of desire to have to put any effort into actually speaking or writing even the most mundane of thoughts or sentiments.

Sometimes I just like to sit back and observe. Play the part of the spectator, rather than a participant. That's more along the lines of what I was feeling.

Zuly.. I had a dream about that once...

Some phycic type was trying to read my mind to find out something secret or another... I kept fighting and she kept pushing.... Then all of the sudden she screams in terror and collapses to the ground as a quivering lump.

Someplaces you just don't want to go....

Have I mentioned that I'm psychic? I'll just do a Vulcan Mind Meld and handle all personal communications for a couple of days. No problem.

On second thought, do I really want to get that deep into your mind? Would I end up crazy from your brilliance?

I really just can not resist leaving the comment here, but you say want to share your thoughts without opening your mouth??
Do what I do, Sign it

I feel exactly the same way I wish I could share my deep thoughts with out the hassel of saying or writing them. My blog would be ever so much more entertaining, and insightful if it were so.

Ya know.....

I've always found it amazing that humans have found so many ways to communicate, and not just the languages, but Art, elctronics, radio, signlanguage..... and in everyway that we have to communicate, we have made a way to not have to. Turn off the radio or tv. turn up the music. close our eyes....
Only people could work so hard at having a way to say something even when they don't want to talk.
Just a thought....

OOh OOh this reminds me!!!
Knew a girl once, real nice, damn mean. She'd been mute since about age 8. Cancer I believe. I was over having dinner and her current designated sex toy was there to bitch about me being there. Anyways. HE always thought it was funny to just turn his back on her and "shut her up the way every woman deserves". yeah, real charmer. It seems he got off by making her stomp her foot to get his attention so that she could sign. Well..... she got tired of the game that night. Started off with a stomp, and quickly moved to a foot up the ass, by the time I finished my salad she had done a world class job on him. I tossed him out the back door of her studio and worried about the pasta. Just to be nice, since he was still there after desert and drinks, I took by the ER. I couldn't help it tho... I kicked him out of the car and left him there.

:) All the ways we can communicate.....

"Too bad the original version is so pussified" is the funniest phrase I"ve heard all day.

Aaron, hate the game, not the player...

(Besides, if I seriously thought Jodi was going to even consider this offer, I'd have included my priceline itinerary... My offer for "Grindlish" was akin to asking her a serious question, like "What's your favorite breakfast cereal?"

If I WAS serious in my questioning, I'd ask her who her favorite cereal mascot is, and if it was Lucky "selfish bastard" the Leprechaun then I'd be sorely disappointed.)

(psst....Thomas......I'm fairly certain that she wasn't looking for that kind of response.)

Jodi, you could tell us how you feel just by rubbing your body against us.

We'll have to establish a rudimentary language table, a rosetta stone of this "body language".

I'll selflessly volunteer to help forge this new territory. I won't rest until we're both quite fluent in "Grindlish".

Well, maybe a few breaks for Gatorade.

Nicole, I know the version of which you speak! It is indeed kick-ass.

Offered by: Jodi on August 28, 2002 11:28 AM

One of my Tae Bo tapes has a kickass dance version of that song on it. Every time I get to that portion of the video my energy level goes waaaay up.

Too bad the original version is so pussified.

Umm. This was totally off topic.

That is all.
