Votive Sense
Note: Pearl River Mart recently moved from its cluttered old digs on Canal Street to 477 Broadway (at Grand). I'm not sure if I like it all spiffy, though. There was something more genuine about having to schlep up that old staircase to get to the goods. fresh-baked at 07:12 PM
I saw this little sign affixed to a box of votive candles at Pearl River Mart. I think it's more a case of misspelling or misinterpretation of the word "French" than any sort of political commentary. At least I hope so. (See my entry from this morning.)
