It is impossible to walk past this, on West 56th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, without being enchanted. Just as enchanting is that if you live here, you also have very very easy access to Thai Basil, my second favorite Thai restaurant in the city. (Foreshadowing: I will be sharing food fotos soon!)

Psst! My father owned 401 W. 56 St. on the corner of 9th. Had it built, even, in 1964. He sold it about 20 or so years ago now.
