I know things look different over here, and that you probably don't recognize "Because I Say So!" without that charming graphic likeness*
(the one I oh so affectionately call "jodisprout") you've come to know and love. But I assure you that this is the place. So don't be scared.

I promised that I would move to "jodiverse.com", so here I am. My own domain. (And if you even dare refer to that stupid Seinfeld episode, please note that I will be forced to hate you for as long as we both shall live, and perhaps even longer.)

I switched from Blogger to Movable Type, because MT offers a lot of really cool features, the most obvious one being the ability for readers (like you) (yes, even you in the back of the room reading smut behind your math book) to post comments to my posts. The less obvious features are ones that I don't even know how to use yet. But hey, I guess I'm willing to learn, even if its means that in the process of doing so I curse more than ever (is that even possible?), and cry blood.

Eventually I will have fabulous pictures and drawings and all sorts of exciting stuff other than just the witty text you have come to expect from me. Things are "in the works". Really.

Of course, you can still visit the old "Because I Say So!" by clicking on the link to it on the right side of this page. I decided to leave it where it was because I have a strange affinity for its layout. I could have brought all of those old entries to this new site, but then there would be no record of my "evolution" from that site to this one.

So ... Welcome to Jodiverse. Sit back, kick off your shoes (but only if your feet are clean and your toes presentable), and enjoy. But, as always, I don't allow smoking. And no, I'm not sorry. Don't question me. This is, after all, "Because I Say So!"
